Finally back together

'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson and co-star Kristen Stewart are an item again, just months after he walked out on her, The Sun reports.
Pattinson, 26, was revealed to have had a heart-to-heart with the tearful Hollywood beauty, 22, over the weekend and forgiven her “stupid mistake.”
A source told The Sun how Pattinson had set up home with the brunette once more, adding: “They pretty much decided they couldn’t live without each other."

I am so happy for them but i sincerely hope she wouldn't cheat again.

Bucket list bandit finally arrested

The FBI has nabbed the "Bucket List Bandit" – so dubbed because he told bank tellers he had a gun and only four months to live – ending a spree of bank robberies that spanned nine states in three months.
Michael Brewster, 54, of Pensacola, Fla. was arrested on Thursday after Roland Police pulled him over for a routine traffic stop on the border of Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Police realized he was driving a car reported stolen out of Florida that had been fitted with a Utah license plate.
The traffic stop came three days after Brewster allegedly robbed a bank in Erie, Penn., prompting the FBI to launch an all-out digital assault on him by plastering his face on billboards, posters, TV stations and the Internet.
A tip that the bandit was in fact Brewster came in on Wednesday, and he was arrested in Oklahoma on Thursday.
Since Brewster's arrest, his former landlord told ABC News that he was evicted from his Pensacola apartment on June 14, just seven days before he allegedly drove his stolen car to Colorado to commit the first robbery.
He would go on to rob a total of ten banks before law enforcement caught up with him, always telling bank tellers that he had only months to live.
"Was this guy really terminally ill or was he just trying to be a mastermind?" asked law enforcement expert and crime analyst Rod Wheeler on "Good Morning America."
Brewster never said what he was dying from or why he needed the money, according to investigators.
"The fact that this guy committed not one…but a total of 10 bank robberies is a little startling," Wheeler said. "And the fact that he got away with these crimes is even more startling."
I personally think the guy has mental issues because you can start a bucket list but am sure robbing banks should never be on it.
One of these days, i'll tell you what's on my own bucket list. *wink*

… 300,000 to brush teeth simultaneously
Lagos State government, Wednesday, said over 300, 000 persons will simultaneously compete in the Lagos World Record Tooth Brushing Challenge in December, aimed at creating a new Guinness Book of Records in tooth brushing across the world.
The state government also said preventive dental health care department will be established in the entire Primary Health Care, PHCs, in the state.

The current record of 177, 003 in tooth brush challenge was set by India in 2007.
Adeshina said; “The toothbrush challenge programme tagged ‘Do not wait: address your future now,’ is not just solely aimed on shattering the world record on December 5  alone, but the challenge will also provide vital information for future research baseline on oral health planning in the state.”
Good idea if you ask me. *big smile*

Kanye West gets 17 BET award nominations

WHAT????

Kanye West hasn't released a solo album since 2010, but the rapper has kept relevant with another strong year.
Now, BET is taking notice.
West received the most nominations with 17 for the seventh annual BET Hip-Hop Awards, which will air Oct. 9. The rapper has had a big year as a producer, performer and director. He also collaborated with Jay-Z on the hit album, "Watch the Throne.
I am super shocked. And I am thinking he is not the only black producer so why 17 nominations? I now understand why Nigeria's D banj decided to stay glued to Kanye despite all the things said by his fans.
Go Kanye! Kim must be so excited.

Nigerians ARISE!

I read this write up by an incredible author Tunde Leye. Here he talks about the Nigerians that participated in the just concluded paralympics.  Scroll down to read more.

“I’m a writer of fiction majorly, but I feel compelled to do this… TL”
I saw the tweets and read the reports about the outstanding performance of our Paralympians at the just concluded Paralympics. And my thoughts kept going to their return, and what rewards awaited them. I do not know any of them personally, neither do I know what they do for livelihood. What I do know is that it will drive a stake through my heart if, two years from now, I find out that these Nigerians who have done us so proud live in penury and can barely eat and fend for themselves.
Therefore, when they came in yesterday and the reports were that no one from the sports ministry was at hand to welcome them, I ruled out the government as the source of their reward. But if the government won’t, then what can we do? Then I had this thought – these people embody great characteristics – work ethic, resilience, perseverence in the face of challenging situations, achieving beyond limitations. The list really is long. I’m sure there is a brand or two out there, a telecoms company, a bank, a manufacturer, an energy drink maker, a brand that operates in Nigeria that can use the Paralympians as brand ambassadors. It will provide them a guaranteed livelihood, an encouragement for others and importantly, an endorsement of these values. No CSR can be greater and no value proposition can be better.
So I’m appealing to all of you who have enjoyed reading the Fiction on this blog, to use all your influence, if you can reach anyone in the branding departments of these companies, by phone, at work, on FB, BB and Twitter, or if you can reach someone who can on radio, TV, print media, bloggers, please do. Until it happens. If you want to tweet about it, please use the hashtag #NigerianParalympians. Let’s make this happen and appreciate these people.

Prince Charming

Soooooooooo cute.
I can't wait to have a baby.

True or False?

The Radio/Tv presenter, Big Brother Africa Live Show host, happily married lover and daddy said this morning:
I'm vexing on the show this morning, trying to help ladies find guys. lol
So Ik went ahead to list out 6 tips so far on how ladies can get a good dude for themselves. |So, here.

Take a read and let me know if there's any of the tips you agree with.
  • 1. Learn to do solo trips. It's just easier for most guys to step to a girl on her own, than one in a pack of girls
  • 2.Make friends with married women. They know what guys want more than your single friends (that's why they're married)
  • 3. Be careful not to be TOO INDEPENDENT. Learn to gain from your man's presence in your life. Guys need to be needed
  • 4.Drop guys that take all ur time without really chasing u. They block other guys. No IWC= Intimacy Without Commitment!
  • 5. Make an effort. Try to look nice. Work out. Guys like babes. Get that Don King hair done, stop forming"Oh Naturale"
  • 6. Don't give it ALL up. Leave some for marriage. Perfect the art of giving previews. Nobody pays for free stuff.

   Would this work?
