This morning it was revealed that the police is on the trail of the man who bought late Cynthia's blackberry phone. For all we care this man does not know the phone was stolen and he now has suffer for buying that phone. Someone close to me was in similar dilemma last year and it was a terrible experience.

Do you know that Joan Rivers is over 70 years old? I didn't know till she had a twitter brawl with Rihanna so i decided to find out more bout her. Her real name is Joan Alexandria Molinky. The name Joan Rivers is her stage name. Now you know. She was born on the 8th June 1933 (bet you didn't know that )
The main gist is that she has done over 700 cosmetic surgeries. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepa!

As at February 2012 she had done exactly 739 surgeries. Alot of Hollywood celebrities do one surgery or the other but she is the boss.
Sincerely I have once thought about doing laser liposuction whenever I can afford it but emmmmmmmmm I'll get disowned in the process sooooooo change of plans.

Nigeria thy glory

It is surprising how things can turn out especially for Nigeria in the ongoing London Paralympics. As at this morning, Nigeria had 10 medals! yes 10. Are u surprised?

As at now we are No.13 on the Paralympics table ranking No.1 in Africa.

I feel so good about this since we didn't get a single medal at the Olympics. These wonderful people have done Nigeria proud.
I am wondering what the Federal  government will give them because they deserve more than  the Presidential handshake, abi what do you think?

Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan is currently undergoing treatment in a German hospital. Street Journal gathered that she is being treated for food poisoning . The First Lady was flown out of Nigeria last week.
Does it mean this couldn't be handled by doctors in Nigeria or they suspect fowl play? All I know is we want leadership by example. Shikena.

Are Weddings Overrated?

I loooooooooooove weddings. Beauty and lots of glamour with our ever elegant looking aso ebi. Hmmmmmmmm. Lots of food, wine and orisirisi edibles. We even begin to compare who's wedding dress is more elegant and mouth watering cakes. I particularly look out for the wedding rings, am a sucker for rings. But......

Does it that one day really matter when you might be unhappy for God knows how long? In recent times broken marriages have skyrocketed. Alot of us just want to get married because we want to please our family. Is that enough reason to rush into it? I know alot of unhappy couples.We read it in media everyday yet we will still rush into it.
I think marriage is beautiful if you marry your Best friend. And please do it prayerful and don't get married for the wrong reasons.

What if he beats you?

Wife battery is happening everywhere in the world. I am beginning to think there should be capital punishments for men who beat their spouse. Not too long ago, Basketball Wives reality star Evelyn Lozada was head butted by her husband because she found receipts of condoms in the car just 3weeks after their wedding, that's another wedding record that is shorter than Kim Kardashian's 72 days wedding.  I like Americans sha, the husband Chad Ochocinco lost his job contract and his team immediately denounced him. Oyinbo people i gbadun them.

So what came to my mind is this:
1. Why is it so difficult for  African women to walk out when their man beats them?
2. Why is it that some women don't even allow relatives know that he beats you?
If he beats you before marriage RUN! And if its after marriage seek help.

Don't get me wrong, I am not an activist or anything but I think its time women save themselves from men that would beat and humiliate them in all sorts of  manner.Ii have seen women close to me that goes through this dilemma and they hide it from those that can save them. So am putting it to you out there, will u stay if he beats you? And how can we help such women even when they speak out?
